Lake Nakuru Day Trip

Find a scenic day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park, a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. Day 1

LAKE NAKURU DAY TRIP

Day Trip to Lake Nakuru Lodge (Daily departure – minimum 2 persons)

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley stopping to marvel at the views of the escarpment along the way. Arrive Lake Nakuru National Park for mid-morning game drive.

Lake Nakuru National Park is the Bird Watchers’ Paradise, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. Enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges.
Wildlife includes endangered White and Black rhinos as well as Rothschild giraffe. Water bucks, predators such as the lion and leopard are common at the park.

Proceed for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Another short game drive as you get out of the park, and drive back to Nairobi arriving early evening.
